The Israeli data center company MedOne is currently building a new campus in Kfar Yona that will include two data centers at an investment of more than one billion shekels (approximately $270 million), Calcalist has learned. The first facility on the campus will open during 2026 and will join the four existing facilities in Tel Aviv, Petah Tikva, Tirat HaCarmel and the new campus currently being established in Ramle. The second Kfar Yona facility will be launched in 2027.

Founded in 1997 by the Livnat family, MedOne provide hosting services for central computer systems, business continuity solutions, and local and hybrid public cloud solutions. In July 2022, the global investment company Berkshire Partners, headquartered in Boston, and the van Rooyen Group purchased 49% of the company for NIS 730 million ($200M).

The planned facilities in Kfar Yona will be spread over three underground floors in an area of approximately 30,000 square meters and are intended for local and international customers.

“Business continuity in the new facility will be structured in such a way that every system is fully backed up in real time,” said Ronnie Sadeh, CEO of MedOne. “The new campus, similar to the other facilities, is planned and managed according to the attribution threats of the State of Israel, in order to enable business continuity even under extreme conditions in which the civil electricity infrastructures may be damaged.”
