Legrand, a world supplier {of electrical} and digital constructing infrastructure, is presenting its deal with open, scalable information centre architectures. Its portfolio, aligned with Open Compute Challenge (OCP) requirements, might be featured on the OCP EMEA Summit. The corporate goals to assist OCP adoption by way of engineering and design capabilities meant to extend flexibility, scalability, and deployment effectivity.

With rising demand from AI and high-performance computing workloads, information centre operators are more and more evaluating conventional designs to assist greater energy densities and altering workload necessities. OCP architectures are used to assist vitality effectivity, scalability, and simplified integration for infrastructure meant for AI and digital providers.

On the summit, Legrand will current OCP-aligned rack and energy options designed to assist white-space structure and scalable deployment. The ORv3-compliant portfolio features a 33kW energy shelf with Xerus firmware, a vertical 48VDC busbar obtainable in configurations as much as 1400A, and an ORv3 rack supporting hundreds as much as 2,300 kg. The Good Rack Controller (SRC2) integrates with the ORv3 48VDC busbar to offer environmental monitoring and sensor administration at rack stage.

Legrand can also be introducing a 48VDC-ready Rear Door Warmth Exchanger (RDHx), which connects to the rack’s DC busbar to assist energy supply and scale back conversion phases. That is meant to assist deployment of high-density cooling inside ORv3-aligned architectures and streamline electrical design for greater thermal hundreds.

Legrand continues to put money into options meant to assist information centre operators in deploying infrastructure, managing efficiency, and adapting to workload necessities related to AI, high-performance computing, and cloud-scale functions.
