Port specs embrace:

  • 48 SFP28 ports supporting dual-rate 10GbE/25GbE connectivity
  • 8 QSFP28 ports supporting 100GbE connections
  • Console port for direct administration entry

Layer 3 routing capabilities embrace static routing with help for entry management lists (ACLs) and VLAN segmentation. The change implements IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tagging, port isolation, and port mirroring for site visitors evaluation. For hyperlink aggregation, the change helps IEEE 802.3ad for elevated throughput and redundancy between switches or servers.

Goal functions and use circumstances

The CX4800-56F targets a number of deployment eventualities the place high-capacity spine connectivity and versatile port configurations are required.

“This shall be for service suppliers initially or massive deployments the place they want a excessive capability spine to ship a primarily 10G entry layer to the tip level,” explains Nguyen. “Now with Wi-Fi 7, extra 10G/25G succesful POE switches are being powered up and wish interconnectivity with out the bottleneck. We see this for knowledge facilities, campus, MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) buildings or neighborhood deployments.”

Administration is dealt with by Zyxel’s NebulaFlex Professional know-how, which helps each standalone configuration and cloud administration by way of the Nebula Management Heart (NCC). The change features a one-year skilled pack license offering IGMP know-how and community analytics options.

The SFP28 ports preserve backward compatibility between 10G and 25G requirements, enabling phased migration paths for organizations transitioning between these speeds.
