TraceGains

TraceGains, a Westminster, CO-based company which specializes in compliance and networked product development software, acquired NutriCalc, a provider of nutritional calculation software.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The integration of TraceGains and NutriCalc enhances the supply chain’s ability to tackle new product development and reformulation, along with global safety, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) challenges, as well as rapidly evolving consumer preferences.

With this acquisition, TraceGains inherits NutriCalc’s wealth of nutritional information. In turn, NutriCalc now has access to TraceGains’ vast network of over 70,000 supplier locations and a database of more than 500,000 searchable ingredients and items.

Founded by Dr. David Bartley, NutriCalc provides a nutrition and food labeling calculation software that helps professional food businesses reach their recipe nutrition targets and allergen labeling requirements within budget.

Led by CEO Gary Nowacki, TraceGains is a provider of networked compliance and product development solutions designed specifically for the Food and Beverage supply chain industry. It provides companies with a networked business ecosystem and marketplace that enables manufacturers and suppliers to collaborate, sell ingredients, develop new products, ensure food safety, horizon scan, mitigate safety risks, and comply with complex global regulatory requirements. TraceGains is used by more than 1,200 customers, networked to 73,000 supplier locations and more than 500,000 searchable ingredients and items.
