Latent AI, a frontrunner in edge AI options, has been chosen by the U.S. Division of Protection (DoD) for the APFIT program to advance edge AI applied sciences for protection purposes. 

The award builds on the success of Mission AMMO, which decreased AI mannequin replace occasions from months to days utilizing Latent AI’s Environment friendly Inference Platform (LEIP). Mission AMMO demonstrated the worth of edge AI in enabling real-time decision-making in contested environments, initially specializing in naval mine countermeasures. 

Latent AI joins 4 different firms within the APFIT program, with funding evenly distributed to reinforce edge AI capabilities.
