nVent has unveiled its new modular knowledge centre liquid cooling options, aligned with chip producers’ present and future cooling necessities.

The brand new options embody enhanced coolant distribution unit (CDU) choices with new row- and rack-based CDUs, alongside superior expertise cooling system (TCS) manifolds. In addition they embody up to date racks primarily based on main reference designs and a brand new companies programme.

nVent showcased the vary of options alongside its next-generation clever energy distribution items (PDUs) at SC25, which befell from 16–21 November 2025.

“We’re tapping into our deep technical experience and dealing collaboratively with chip producers and the broader ecosystem to resolve our prospects’ distinctive challenges with these new liquid cooling and energy options,” stated Eric Osborn, Normal Supervisor of nVent Knowledge Options.

“Our dedication to main innovation for next-generation AI chips is on the core of the work now we have carried out on this area for greater than a decade.”

Management in liquid cooling and energy

nVent’s new cooling and energy portfolio consists of modular and scalable row-based CDUs, next-generation PDUs, AC and DC rack CDUs, and new TCS manifolds. Collectively, these options carry cutting-edge cooling infrastructure to knowledge centres to help the AI buildout. nVent’s new CDU and PDU merchandise additionally embody a typical management platform that may improve reliability and enhance the consumer expertise for knowledge centre operators.

On the present, the corporate additionally highlighted its knowledge centre companies providing. Liquid cooling expertise brings tens of millions of {dollars}’ price of IT tools into shut proximity to liquid, making appropriate set up and upkeep crucial to keep away from pricey downtime and repairs. nVent’s complete suite of companies, together with set up, start-up, preventive upkeep, and spare components and repairs, helps hold knowledge centre initiatives on time and working easily.

Collaborating with trade leaders

With its deep experience, together with years of expertise with world installations and designing for serviceability, nVent is well-positioned to ship infrastructure options that help next-generation reference architectures.

Trendy knowledge centres face rising rack-level energy densities, extra compute-intensive workloads, and rising demand for modularity to keep up uptime and scalability. nVent and Siemens are combining their experience to assist knowledge centres put together their cooling and energy infrastructure for world deployment and operational resilience. The 2 corporations are collaborating to develop a liquid cooling and energy reference structure, purpose-built for hyperscale AI workloads.

nVent can be collaborating in Challenge Deschutes and exhibited its new CDU design primarily based on Google’s specs at SC25. Challenge Deschutes 5.0 is a CDU design specification for knowledge centres made obtainable by way of the Open Compute Challenge. Challenge Deschutes is designed to assist speed up the adoption of liquid cooling throughout the info centre trade.
