LiquidStack, a supplier of liquid cooling options for knowledge centres, has confirmed a 300-megawatt capability order of Coolant Distribution Items (CDUs) from a U.S. based mostly knowledge centre operator. This multi-location order goals to cater to AI-ready knowledge centre deployments, reflecting the ever-growing demand for expansive liquid cooling options in high-density AI workload environments.

This order focuses on LiquidStack’s CDU-1MW items, that are engineered for fast deployment, aiming to supply high-performance, operational effectivity, and future expandability tailor-made to next-generation knowledge centre ecosystems.

The shopper, an operator with a rising portfolio of AI-ready amenities throughout the US, has chosen LiquidStack as its accomplice for liquid cooling. This collaboration helps the enlargement of AI-ready, high-density infrastructure.

LiquidStack’s manufacturing and supply capabilities are meant to assist the fulfilment of this 300-megawatt order, according to build-out timelines throughout a number of areas.

“Orders of this measurement sign a transparent inflection level for liquid cooling,” famous Joe Capes, CEO of LiquidStack. This perception underscores the sector’s shift, with operators embracing liquid cooling as necessary infrastructure for AI initiatives, positioning LiquidStack to assist this transition.

LiquidStack’s CDU fashions are crafted for integration with direct-to-chip and hybrid liquid cooling frameworks, aiming to make sure exact thermal administration, strong availability, and easy operational processes.

This announcement coincides with LiquidStack’s continued momentum, highlighted by its inclusion on NVIDIA’s Really useful Vendor Checklist for CDUs, enlargement of its manufacturing base in Carrollton, Texas, and escalating adoption of its CDU frameworks in AI and accelerated computing duties.
