Local weather options consultants, LFB Group’s Lennox-branded Knowledge Centre Options division, has introduced a big enlargement undertaking, enhancing their operational capabilities in Lyon, France. The multi-million euro funding reinforces their dedication to main the info centre market, pushed by a rising demand for AI and elevated information storage options.

The funding targets two key websites positioned in Genas and Mions. With near a 12 months of operations underneath its belt, the division celebrates this development as a strategic transfer to seize the burgeoning information centre market, together with over 100 projected amenities within the UK and an anticipated continental funding of €94 billion by 2030.

The expanded amenities will enable the Lennox division to fulfill the rising demand for progressive cooling options, important for managing the upper rack densities characterizing at present’s information centres. This European enlargement enhances the corporate’s potential to help operators throughout the EMEA market.

Inbuilt 1968, the Genas facility spans 18,000 sqm and serves as a producing hub, specializing in evaporators, condensers, and the ApX Sequence merchandise, which help trendy information centre wants. The funding will introduce new automation and high quality assurance instruments, akin to helium leak testing and induction brazing, alongside a cutting-edge punching machine.

A part of LFB Group’s sustainability initiatives, the location may also characteristic over 1,000 photo voltaic panels by 2026, aligning with the United Nations’ International Compact targets. In the meantime, the Mions laboratory — a prestigious Eurovent-accredited centre — will spearhead analysis and improvement (R&D) actions aimed toward advancing information centre applied sciences.

Outfitted with superior climatic take a look at chambers, the laboratory helps efficiency validation and rigorous real-world testing, solidifying the LFB Group’s foothold as a premier European producer with a complete manufacturing community.
