
KatRisk, a La Jolla, CA-based supplier of catastrophic threat modeling software program to the insurance coverage and monetary companies industries, acquired Gamma, a Dublin, Eire-based firm which focuses on location intelligence and property-level threat evaluation.
The quantity of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisition, KatRisk will combine Gamma’s experience in property-level visualization, offering purchasers with intuitive map-based threat insights, dynamic dashboards, and enhanced spatial analytics.
Led by CEO Feargal O’Neill, Gamma focuses on location intelligence options that combine software program, knowledge, and companies offering a greater spatial perception and data-driven determination making.
KatRisk focuses on local weather disaster threat modeling, offering options to insurers, governments, and monetary establishments. With fashions protecting over 190 international locations, it affords high-resolution threat assessments for inland flooding, storm surge, tropical cyclone wind, extreme convective storm, and wildfire.
