Fortinet has refreshed its department workplace firewalls, including energy and options to its next-generation FortiGate G-series units.

Three new bins within the FortiGate G Sequence portfolio – the 70G, 50G, and 30G – embrace built-in firewall, intrusion prevention, malware and ransomware safety, SD-WAN, and switching capabilities, all of which will be managed by way of the seller’s FortiManager centralized administration platform. FortiManager lets clients create and deploy safety insurance policies throughout a number of firewalls, simplifying administration in giant, distributed enterprises, based on Fortinet.

The brand new bins additionally assist Fortinet’s generative AI assistant, FortiAI, to assist directors automate duties, generate actionable insights, and enhance menace detection, the seller acknowledged. As well as, FortiGate clients can use FortiAI to assist incident evaluation and menace remediation.
