Ethos Engineering embraces expansion with 3DEC acquisition

Ethos Engineering, an Irish agency specialising in sustainable information centre design within the EMEA area, has expanded its capabilities with its newest acquisition. Backed by Exponent, Ethos has acquired 3DEC Ltd, a UK-based consultancy identified for its ICT design companies for information centres, business areas, and academic environments.

This acquisition is about to reinforce Ethos’s shopper choices by integrating 3DEC’s design companies instantly into its operations. 

The acquisition marks one other step for Ethos following its partnership with non-public fairness agency Exponent in March 2024. This era has seen Ethos’s income improve, worker depend soar to 259, and growth into the UK and the Netherlands, alongside a brand new HQ in Dublin. The addition of 3DEC’s workforce, which includes over 40 expert engineers, additional rising the corporate’s headcount.

Greg Hayden, Ethos Engineering’s chief govt, famous that Ethos’s collaboration with 3DEC has been profitable through the years, emphasising their shared dedication to excellence. Bringing 3DEC’s professionals on board seeks to reinforce service supply and challenge execution.

Dylan Lewis, managing director of 3DEC, expressed enthusiasm in regards to the strategic match with Ethos. He remarked that aligning Ethos’s can speed up their development trajectory and augments their service choices to purchasers, significantly inside the blue-chip information centre sector.

Exponent’s companion, Anthony Clegg, highlighted the significance of this acquisition, noting its significance in Ethos’s continuous evolution, broadening of service capabilities, and rising workforce, serving to them cater to a broader vary of hyperscale and co-location information centre purchasers.
