ESR and Colt DCS collaborate on major data centre in Osaka

The preliminary part of the positioning, accounting for 65 MW, might be designed, constructed, and managed by the ESR-Colt DCS alliance. Preparations for the positioning are presently underway, with building anticipated to begin in 2027 and operational readiness projected for late 2029. This formidable timeline displays the three way partnership’s dedication to delivering well timed and high-quality options.

This strategic alliance harnesses Colt DCS’s unparalleled operational proficiency, amassed via over 25 years inside Japan, alongside ESR’s distinguished in-market improvement acumen. Collectively, they goal to ship superior knowledge centre options. Colt DCS’s 2023 institution of the Osaka Keihanna knowledge centre and ESR’s 2025 launch of the OS1 hyperscale asset additional illustrate their monitor document.

The Minoh website covers 140,000 sq. metres of land, already acquired and rezoned in collaboration with the native authorities.
