Ericsson launched two new routers, the Cradlepoint R980 and S400, to boost safe and dependable Wi-fi WAN for enterprises.

The R980 is a ruggedized 5G router designed for autos, supporting superior functions like AI-driven video recognition and real-time knowledge evaluation. The S400 is a semi-ruggedized IoT system that gives safe connectivity for numerous IoT functions, that includes a zero-trust community strategy.

Each routers combine with Ericsson’s NetCloud platform, which simplifies deployment, administration, and safety for large-scale IoT and automobile networks.

“Our clients are more and more demanding the velocity, reliability, and safety that 5G and LTE Wi-fi WAN provide,” says Ed Walton, CEO of STEP, a companion for Ericsson Wi-fi WAN and Enterprise 5G. “Each the R980 and S400 deal with our clients’ want for mass-deployment, guaranteeing optimum efficiency and safety in demanding environments. At STEP, we’re all the time impressed with how NetCloud options proceed to evolve to assist us to scale our providers effectively, so clients can concentrate on their core enterprise.”

New Mobile Intelligence options in NetCloud automate provider choice and monitor mobile well being, enhancing set up effectivity and troubleshooting.
