Colt DCS boosts German expansion by 117MW

Colt Information Centre Companies (Colt DCS) has introduced plans to develop 4 new information centres in Germany.

The 4 amenities will include Frankfurt 4 & 5 and Berlin 1 & 2. The 2 Frankfurt information centres will probably be constructed on an 18-acre web site and supply a mixed 63MW, whereas the Berlin information centres will probably be constructed on a 9.5-acre web site and supply a complete 54MW of IT capability. Colt DCS is focusing on first part RFS (prepared for service) at Frankfurt 4 and Berlin 1 by the tip of 2028, with renewable energy contracts already secured. The acquisitions in Frankfurt and Berlin, reinforce Colt DCS’ dedication to digital infrastructure in Germany, and represents a €2 billion funding in its financial system. To accommodate this, the design flexibly helps cooling by conventional air, direct liquid-to-chip and hybrid approaches.
