CBRE gets city approval for data center expansion in Chandler

Chandler Metropolis Council voted June 27 to go and undertake a decision for a growth settlement, rezoning and preliminary growth plan for the enlargement for Frye Information Heart — a 150,000-square-foot campus owned by CBRE Funding Administration. The campus is positioned in Chandler’s Worth Hall and carries an tackle of 2500 W. Frye Highway. The event plans would increase Frye Information Heart by 243,000 sq. ft.

Council voted to approve the enlargement via the consent agenda, which didn’t require dialogue earlier than the vote.

The approval comes greater than a yr after Chandler adopted a data center zoning amendment that prohibited information facilities except particular standards have been met. That ordinance acknowledged, amongst different provisions:
