International managed providers and communications infrastructure firm Zayo introduced a $90 million dedication to enhance and lengthen fiber infrastructure all through Tennessee. This funding will strengthen necessary community pathways, enabling very important connectivity to necessary knowledge facilities and educational establishments and selling innovation and financial progress all through the state.

The challenge includes cutting-edge community infrastructure to serve the area’s quickly rising synthetic intelligence (AI) and different high-bandwidth workloads by powering hyperscale and knowledge middle campuses.

This funding strengthens Zayo Training’s (beforehand Training Networks of America) longstanding ties to Tennessee, as the corporate relies in Nashville. In at this time’s digital age, reliable, quick web connectivity is essential, significantly for the academic sector. At present, Zayo gives wide-area networking (WAN) and managed web providers to 94% of Tennessee college districts, guaranteeing Okay–12 college students protected entry to on-line training wherever they could be. By making this funding, Zayo is reaching extra underprivileged neighborhoods and confirming its dedication to closing Tennessee’s digital hole.

Michael McKerley, Senior Vice President, Zayo Managed Providers, acknowledged, “Zayo’s $90 million funding in Tennessee is a testomony to our continued dedication to bridging the digital divide and powering the state’s future.” Serving 139 of Tennessee’s 147 college districts, we’re the state’s high managed community connectivity supplier, so we’re conscious of how necessary reliable, quick web is. This funding will help the infrastructure required for Tennessee’s increasing digital economic system, enhance the attain of our community, and enhance connection for Okay–12 training.
