VIAVI unveils XEdge for edge network monitoring and cost reduction

VIAVI Solutions launched XEdge, an all-in-one, cloud-based resolution for steady edge community testing and monitoring at scale. 

XEdge integrates a multi-carrier RF probe and controller, supporting multi-SIM, built-in sensors, and autonomous testing for versatile use. It addresses the complexities of wi-fi environments, leveraging cloud-based structure, edge computing, and AI for streamlined SLA monitoring. 

The system helps 5G NR, LTE, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB interfaces, and complies with FCC, IC, and CE certifications. XEdge additionally provides centralized administration through a web-based interface, deployable in cloud, on-premises, or hybrid fashions, with REST API integration for third-party techniques.

Designed for cost-effective reliability, it reduces operational prices, enhances community efficiency, and helps industries like public security, transportation, and personal enterprise networks. 

XEdge can be showcased at MWC Barcelona from March 3-6, 2025.
