Verizon, Vonage team up to bring 5G network APIs to developers

Verizon and Vonage have signed a Memoriam of Understanding (MOU) to combine Verizon community APIs into the Vonage platform. This collaboration will enable builders to entry community companies and capabilities.

The businesses will collaborate to develop new APIs, creating an ecosystem of community APIs for builders to construct safe, dependable, and new functions, the businesses say.

The businesses add that Verizon’s community companies integration with Vonage’s platform permits enterprises to boost shopper engagement all through the client journey, leading to improved experiences and elevated model loyalty.

The collaboration goals to develop superior APIs that may allow entry to community capabilities, driving the worldwide trade ahead. Vonage and Verizon say that is essential for unlocking the total potential of the 5G community, accelerating digital transformation and producing further worth from community belongings.

Srini Kalapala, Verizon’s SVP of know-how and product improvement, encourages collaboration with corporations like Vonage to boost community accessibility for builders and drive progress within the related world.

Based on Seckin Arikan, the chief VP and head of communications platform as a Service (CPaaS) and International Community Platform (GNP) Gross sales, this partnership allows Ericsson to supply community APIs within the U.S. market.
