Tobiko Data Raises $21.8M in Funding

Tobiko Data, a San Mateo, CA-based knowledge infrastructure startup, raised $21.8M in funding.

The quantity consisted of $4.5M Seed funding spherical from Uncommon Ventures and a $17.3M Collection A led by Concept Ventures with participation from 20Sales, Fivetran CEO George Fraser, Census CEO Boris Jabes, and MotherDuck CEO Jordan Tigani. Tomasz Tunguz, Founding father of Concept Ventures, will be part of the Board as a part of the funding.

The corporate intends to make use of the funds to proceed investing in its open supply tasks SQLMesh and SQLGlot, along with its managed cloud and enterprise model, accessible right now.

Based by brothers Tyson and Toby Mao, and Iaroslav Zeigerman, Tobiko Information is the creator of open supply tasks SQLGlot and SQLMesh, which scale back the handbook work that comes with wrangling knowledge and improve effectivity in warehouse value by avoiding unnecessary desk rebuilds.
