Talofa Games, a San Francisco, CA-based gaming studio developing social fitness games, reportedly raised $6.3M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Chamaeleon, with participation from a16z SPEEDRUN, Basis Set Ventures, Insight Partners, and 1Up Ventures, among others.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Led by CEO and Founder Jenny Xu, Talofa is currently building Run Legends, a cooperative fitness game that users can play synchronously with their friends, no matter where they are in the world. The movement controls the character: head outside and unleash skills in battle by moving faster and slower.
The game is currently available for free on iOS and Android.
