StorMagic and Supermicro bolster edge HCI offerings amid VMware exodus

StorMagic, a supplier of storage and safety options for organizations with edge infrastructure, introduced its SvHCI resolution has been validated with three Supermicro IoT SuperServers for edge computing. 

SvHCI is a full-stack HCI software program resolution combining SvSAN storage, a hypervisor, virtualized networking, and administration instruments, designed for edge, ROBOs, and SMBs. 

The answer might be deployed on one or two servers for prime availability and downtime elimination. 

Supermicro IoT SuperServers validated embody SYS-220HE-FTNR, SYS-210SE-31A, and SYS-110D-20C, supporting varied edge functions like 5G and enterprise use instances. 

“The SvHCI software program stack was designed particularly for edge use instances and these environments want the quick, dependable and reasonably priced servers that SuperMicro is understood for,” says Bruce Kornfeld, chief product officer, StorMagic. “StorMagic is seeing huge exodus from VMware within the trade which is fueling the demand for SvHCI and the growth of our {hardware} compatibility checklist with Supermicro will assist us ship what prospects need.”

StorMagic highlights rising demand for SvHCI attributable to trade shifts away from VMware. SvHCI with Supermicro servers is on the market globally via StorMagic’s reseller community.

StorMagic focuses on fixing edge information challenges with easy, dependable, and cost-effective options for organizations of all sizes.
