Space Perspective, a Cape Canaveral, FL-based arbon-neutral spaceflight experience company, received an investment from The 100 Fundadores and IFG Capital.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and development efforts.
Founded by Jane Poynter, Space Perspective is a carbon-neutral spaceflight experience company that provides a luxurious way to travel to space. Its spacecraft will take eight explorers to the edge of the Earth’s atmosphere in a pressurized capsule lifted gently by a SpaceBalloon™. Brimming with amenities, the interior cabin features a Space Spa, a culinary program, high-end products, plush seating, and Wi-Fi – all enjoyed while taking in views of planet through a large windows ever flown to space.
Recently, Mercedes-Maybach partnered with Space Perspective to bring the brand to the experience that the company offers. The new all-electric Maybach will transport Space Perspective explorers to and from their spaceflights – offering an end-to-end comfort and luxury experience.
