SiMa.ai and Cisco link up to deliver real-time AI at the industrial edge

SiMa.ai and Cisco introduced a partnership final week to combine SiMa.ai’s Modalix AI platform with Cisco’s IE3500 industrial ethernet switches, enabling real-time AI processing on the industrial edge. 

The answer addresses Trade 4.0 wants by offering low-latency, high-performance AI with privateness, reliability, and safety for vital industrial purposes. It contains real-time AI processing, industrial-grade reliability, simplified deployment, safe edge administration, and enhanced operational effectivity. 

“This collaboration with Cisco marks a big milestone in making edge AI accessible and sensible for industrial environments,” says Krishna Rangasayee, CEO of SiMa.ai. “Our Modalix platform’s potential to ship high-performance AI inference with distinctive power effectivity, mixed with Cisco’s confirmed industrial networking infrastructure, creates a needed resolution for Trade 4.0 transformation.”

SiMa.ai’s Modalix platform is energy-efficient and designed for edge AI, whereas Cisco’s IE3500 switches supply strong, safe, and dependable networking for industrial environments. 

The worldwide edge AI market is quickly rising, with industrial purposes driving important demand for real-time processing and knowledge privateness. 

The mixed resolution is accessible for analysis, with help initiatives to help deployment.
