Sceye Receives Investment from SoftBank Corp

Sceye, a Moriarty, a NM-based aerospace firm specializing in high-altitude platform programs (HAPS) for connectivity and environmental monitoring from the stratosphere, obtained an funding from SoftBank Corp., (TOKYO:9434, “SoftBank”).

The quantity of the deal was not disclosed.

The corporate intends to make use of the funds to help its continued improvement and entry into business operations.

Based in 2014 by CEO Mikkel Vestergaard Frandsen, Sceye is an aerospace firm growing a high-altitude platform programs (HAPS) to attach individuals and defend the planet. With greater than 20 profitable flights and partnerships with federal, state and business companions, it’s opening a brand new infrastructure layer between terrestrial and area programs. The platforms increase connectivity and detect and handle local weather disasters in real-time.

The funding was made as a part of the primary tranche of Sceye’s Collection C funding spherical.
