Qualcomm introduced its acquisition of Edge Impulse to reinforce AI and IoT capabilities, specializing in developer enablement and IoT transformation. 

The acquisition will assist greater than 170,000 builders in creating, deploying, and monitoring AI fashions for edge purposes throughout numerous {hardware}. 

Qualcomm goals to strengthen its management in AI and IoT by integrating Edge Impulse’s platform with its applied sciences, together with Qualcomm Dragonwing processors. 

Edge Impulse’s platform affords instruments for knowledge assortment, mannequin coaching, deployment, and monitoring, supporting purposes like asset monitoring, anomaly detection, and predictive upkeep.
