Q.ANT Raises €62M in Series A Funding

Q.ANT, a Stuttgart, Germany-based photonic processing firm, raised €62m in Collection A funding.

The spherical was co-led by Cherry Ventures, UVC Companions and imec.xpand with participation from L-Financial institution, Verve Ventures, Grazia Fairness, EXF Alpha of Venionaire Capital, LEA Companions, Onsight Ventures, and TRUMPF.

The corporate intends to make use of the funds to scale manufacturing, advance growth of photonic processors, develop its group, and develop to the US.

Based in 2018 by CEO Michael Förtsch as a spin-off from TRUMPF, Q.ANT is a photonic deep-tech scale-up creating photonic processing options that compute natively with gentle and ship a scalable various to transistor-based techniques. Its Mild Empowered Native Arithmetics (LENA) structure delivers analog co-processing energy optimised for advanced computation and enabling energy-efficient efficiency for next-generation AI and HPC functions.
