Princeton NuEnergy Closes USD $30M Series A Funding

Princeton NuEnergy (PNE), a Princeton, NJ-based chief in lithium-ion battery direct recycling, closed a USD30m Sequence A funding.

Backers included a strategic funding from Samsung Enterprise Funding Company, Samsung’s company enterprise arm, and Helium-3, which joined the spherical’s earlier buyers, together with Honda Motor Co. Ltd., LKQ Company, SCG Group, Traxys Group, and Wistron Company.

The corporate intends to make use of the funds will assist development of PNE’s first standalone, full-scale direct battery recycling superior manufacturing facility, which shall be introduced later this month. In complete, the corporate has raised over $55m, together with a number of U.S. Division of Power grants totaling $18 million and a $7.9 million seed & angel spherical.

Led by Dr. Chao Yan, CEO, Princeton NuEnergy is a sophisticated manufacturing chief in lithium-ion battery direct recycling, furthering America’s round battery economic system.
