Premio Inc, a rugged edge/embedded computing and industrial display technology provider, unveils its latest x86 single-board computer powered by Intel’s 12th Generation Alder Lake-N processors.

The company says SBC offers performance and versatility and caters to industrial IoT and embedded computing applications.

According to Dustin Seetoo, the product marketing director, the newest line of single-board computers powered by Intel’s Alder Lake-N processors transforms embedded systems and IoT applications.

“With its compact design, robust performance and unparalleled versatility, these SBCs enable OEM systems builders with a faster time to market and industrial-grade reliability,” adds Seetoo.

Intel’s Alder Lake-N is an entry-level processor known for low power consumption, efficient throughput and multi-core performance. Intel says the processor offers up to 28% improved performance compared to previous entry-level processors from Intel. Meanwhile, the Core i3 N-Series processor delivers a 42% performance boost.

Premio notes that the new Alder Lake-N single-board computer offers two configurations: the CT-DAL01, available now, and the CT-DAL11, available in March 2024. These configurations provide budget-friendly options for high performance and value.

Both configurations offer enhanced performance, richer graphics, and an improved user experience for OEM system builders. The company adds that the Intel Alder Lake-N single-board computer provides a cost-effective, high-performance computing option in a compact form factor, making it ideal for space-constrained applications.

The CT-DAL01 has a maximum capacity of up to 16GB, triple independent display capability, 2x 2.5 GbE Ethernet Ports and versatile expansion options. Meanwhile, the CT-DAL11 shares similar features, but it also offers 3x 2.5 GbE Ethernet Ports, high-speed wireless connectivity with 5G support and a SIM socket for 4G/LTE.

Premio notes that these 3.5″ SBC configurations are ideal for industrial automation, smart retail, kiosks and digital signage. It provides product engineering, fast time to market, and manufacturing transparency from strategic locations in the U.S., Taiwan, Malaysia and Germany.

In December, Premio also introduced its new lineup of Intel 12th/13th Generation fanless/fanned x86 rugged edge computers and a UL-Certified micro-ATX motherboard.
