Quantum computing firm Orca Computing within the U.Okay. and ParTec, a German high-performance computing and AI supercomputing developer, are partnering to supply entry to accelerated HPC and AI architectures.
The collaboration goals to focus on quantum-enhanced AI functions by integrating Orca’s photonic quantum methods into ParTec’s AI Manufacturing unit infrastructure, concentrating on new sectors, together with mobility, transport, aerospace, and satellite tv for pc operations.
The partnership’s first deployments could be at two main European supercomputing installations: The Elbjuwel system at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf and the Vesuvio system at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II. Each installations are set to rank among the many world’s largest supercomputers.
