“We’ve all the time believed that observability is a knowledge drawback, and we now reside in a world the place techniques are extra advanced, knowledge volumes are bigger, and—with AI—it’s frictionless for customers to ask questions,” Burton wrote. “This can be a recreation of analytics, and the observability vendor who can reply probably the most questions—most precisely—will win.”

Observe is a SaaS platform, and prospects deploy Observe brokers to gather telemetry knowledge from quite a lot of sources, together with infrastructure equivalent to Kubernetes, databases equivalent to MongoDB or Snowflake, and different functions. The brokers accumulate time-series knowledge, logs, traces/spans, and efficiency knowledge and ship the information to Observe’s platform. Observe then takes the uncooked telemetry knowledge, curates and normalizes it, and constructions it to make it extra simply navigable and usable for troubleshooting by buyer groups.

“Observe offers us the visibility we want throughout our cloud setting, serving to to scale back our imply time to decision and operational prices, whereas enabling our safety and infrastructure groups to remain forward of potential points,” mentioned Oscar Papel, CISO at Truveta, an Observe buyer, in a statement.
