Nokia and Lenovo team up to advance edge-ready AI data centers

Nokia and Lenovo have shaped a strategic partnership to develop superior information heart options for AI and machine studying workloads.

The collaboration goals to create dependable, scalable, and safe networking and automation options for enterprises, telcos, and cloud suppliers.

They are going to combine Lenovo’s AI-ready servers and storage with Nokia’s data center networking solutions — which spans information heart cloth, IP routing, and DDoS safety portfolios, together with the not too long ago introduced information heart community automation platform, Occasion-Pushed Automation (EDA), enhancing efficiency for contemporary workloads.

Each firms will deal with high-speed, safe interconnectivity for AI clusters inside and between information facilities, in addition to emphasize vitality effectivity and built-in safety to handle cyber threats and cut back operational prices.

“Our partnership with Nokia to bundle AI options is a pure alignment,” says Charles Ferland, vp edge and communications service suppliers at Lenovo. “Collectively, we offer a strong platform that meets the wants of telecommunications and enterprise sectors, enabling them to deploy AI clouds and handle their information effectively.”
