Natural Capital Research Limited (Natcap), a London, UK-based firm delivering nature knowledge, raised $10M in Collection A funding.
Backers included André Hoffmann, Norinchukin Capital, Yeo Ventures, Pelican Ag, David Craig, Oxford Science Enterprises, MW&L Capital Companions, and Alea Iacta Est, all of which participated within the firm’s £2.5M seed spherical in early 2023.
The corporate intends to make use of the funds to speed up progress supporting organisations to know their nature-related dangers and alternatives.
Based in 2018 by Professor Baroness Kathy Willis on the College of Oxford and others, and led by CEO Sebastian Leape, Natcap helps corporations quantify and embed nature-related dangers and alternatives into enterprise technique. They collaborate with scientists to ship complete and comprehensible nature knowledge and metrics. Its platform guides companies by way of measuring, reporting and appearing on their nature-related dangers and alternatives to construct resilient nature methods.
