Monumo, a Cambridge and Coventry, UK-based deeptech firm that reinvents the electrical motor, raised £10.5M in Seed funding so far.
Backers included LQD VC and undisclosed angels.
The corporate intends to make use of the funds to increase operations and improvement efforts.
Led by CEO and Founder Dominic Vergine and CTO Jaroslaw Rzepecki, PhD, Monumo combines deeptech innovation and machine studying with engineering experience to revamp electrical motors. Its patented expertise has already produced a deeptech-generated design for a switched reluctance motor (SRM*) which reduces torque ripple by 50% throughout the drive cycle making it smoother and quieter. It has potential for wider purposes throughout a variety of the electrical motors market.
The corporate has already signed NDAs with quite a few tier one engineering corporations and Authentic Gear Producers (OEMs).
