Miden, a NYC primarily based blockchain infrastructure startup, raised $25m in seed funding.
The spherical was led by a16z Crypto, 1kx, and Hack VC, with participation from Finality Capital Companions, Symbolic Capital, P2 Ventures, Delta Fund, MH Ventures, and angels together with Rune Christensen (MakerDAO) and Sreeram Kannan (EigenLayer).
The corporate intends to make use of the funds to develop operations and growth efforts.
Spun out of Polygon Labs and led by Bobbin Threadbare, Miden is a zk-powered blockchain platform that enables builders to create novel, high-throughput, non-public functions for funds, DeFi, digital belongings and gaming. Purposes and customers are secured by Ethereum and AggLayer.
The mainnet launch is slated for the fourth quarter of 2025.
