Meta Inks Geothermal Deal for Data Centers

Meta signed an settlement with geothermal vitality firm Sage Geosystems to energy its knowledge middle progress and increase the tech firm’s renewable vitality use, the companies announced Monday (August 26).

The deal will present Meta’s operations with as much as 150 MW of recent geothermal energy, per the discharge. Nonetheless, Sage Geosystems CEO Cindy Taff advised ESG Dive Wednesday {that a} location for the location remains to be being labored out.
