maincubes completes land purchase for new campus in Berlin

Addressing the AI-driven surge in data centre power demand

maincubes has acquired a plot of land in Nauen on the outskirts of Berlin, which is able to host a brand new campus (BER02) designed for cloud companies, HPC and AI.

Section one of many improvement will see building of the primary constructing scheduled to start in summer season 2025, with a completion purpose of 2027. The campus has a grid provide connection of 200 MW.

The event is a part of a partnership between maincubes and the AM:PM Grund Group (challenge developer for the Nauen campus), together with related authorities inside the metropolis of Nauen and the state of Brandenburg.

maincubes has stated it plans to utilise photo voltaic and wind energy from present and future renewable vitality sources, in addition to making waste warmth generated by the location out there to the town of Nauen via a heating community.
