LlamaIndex Receives Investments from Databricks and KPMG

Llamaindex, a San Francisco, CA-based supplier of a platform for agentic doc workflows, acquired an funding from Databricks and KPMG.

The quantity of the deal was not disclosed.

The corporate intends to make use of the funds to speed up improvement and adoption of its flagship choices, LlamaCloud and LlamaParse.

Led by CEO Jerry Liu,LlamaIndex gives a versatile, developer-first framework for constructing clever brokers that may cause, retrieve, and act on complicated enterprise paperwork. Its platform consists of LlamaParse, a parser for complicated paperwork, and LlamaCloud, a safe, scalable SaaS and on-prem providing that handles ingestion, indexing, and retrieval workflows. By combining deep data administration capabilities with superior chunking, embedding, and retrieval infrastructure, LlamaIndex allows organizations to operationalize Retrieval-Augmented Era (RAG) and agent-based programs.
