Wi-fi communications, sensing and edge AI service supplier Ceva introduced that ListenAI Expertise has licensed Ceva-Waves Wi-Fi 6 IP to boost its edge AI processors for functions in automotive, dwelling home equipment, shopper electronics, and extra. 

ListenAI integrates superior AI algorithms with proprietary chip designs, specializing in seamless connectivity and efficiency for sensible units. 

The partnership goals to fulfill the rising demand for dependable, environment friendly, and low-latency wi-fi connectivity in edge AI functions. Ceva-Waves Wi-Fi 6 IP supplies sturdy wi-fi capabilities, together with PHY modem and MAC capabilities, optimized for integration into SoC designs. 

“We consider that sturdy and environment friendly wi-fi connectivity is important for the efficiency of edge AI units,” says Tal Shalev, vp and basic supervisor of the wi-fi IoT enterprise unit at Ceva. “Our Wi-Fi 6 IP allows ListenAI’s edge AI portfolio to seamlessly join, course of, and reply in actual time, empowering smarter interactions and delivering the reliability, pace, and effectivity demand from clever units.”

ListenAI’s adoption of Wi-Fi 6 IP will enhance its product choices, enabling smarter, AI-driven units with lowered latency and enhanced person experiences. 

Ceva focuses on wi-fi communications, sensing, and edge AI applied sciences, powering over 18 billion sensible edge merchandise globally. Ceva’s portfolio consists of IPs for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5G, and edge AI, delivering excessive efficiency with low energy consumption.
