The launch of Khazna Data Centers’ flagship facility, AUH6, in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, has been announced. Khazna Data Centers is a Middle East and North Africa supplier of data center infrastructure services. This move would not only solidify Khazna’s position as an industry leader in hyperscale wholesale data centers, but it would also represent a significant advancement toward the UAE’s aspirational AI projects.
With 31.8 megawatt (MW) of IT power capacity, this cutting-edge AUH6 facility would position itself as a vital hub for AI development and hosting services. Its prime position in Masdar City, a community renowned for its dedication to modern technology and environmental sustainability, highlights the data center’s role in promoting a sustainable digital future even more.
AUH6 would be proof of Khazna’s commitment to leading the way in AI and digital innovation, and the firm has played a significant role in creating the foundation for the UAE’s digital environment over the last ten years. The modular architecture of the data center would not only guarantee operational effectiveness and quick deployment, but it also showcases Khazna’s innovative approach to infrastructure development.
AI Capabilities
In an attempt to power AUH6 sustainably, Khazna and Emerge have teamed together to build a 7 megawatt peak (MWp) ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) plant. This initiative is part of Khazna’s Future First Strategy, which outlines its commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable development. The data center’s exterior is specifically designed to mitigate the impact of direct sunlight, enhancing its energy efficiency and reducing its carbon footprint.
In his reflections on the debut, Hassan Alnaqbi, CEO of Khazna Data Centers, said, “AUH6 represents our dedication to pushing the limits of technological innovation and sustainability in the data center industry. Khazna is prepared to assist with this transition as AI develops and changes our digital environment by providing our clients with unmatched access to AI capabilities.” He underlined again how crucial it is to build data centers that are flexible enough to meet the growing needs and complexity of big data and artificial intelligence.
In addition to establishing a new standard for data center architecture and management in the United Arab Emirates, AUH6 would showcase Khazna‘s proficiency and inventiveness in the domain. The company’s future goals would continue to center on embracing technology breakthroughs and growing its presence across the Middle East.
