IOTech targets industrial downtime with standards-driven edge alarm overhaul

Open edge computing answer supplier IOTech launched the Edge Alarm Service, delivering unified, standards-based alarm integration and administration in an industrial IoT edge atmosphere.

By offering flexibility, interoperability and scalability, the service goals to assist in managing a various set of edge programs.

Based mostly on OPC UA Alarms & Situations and IEC 62682 requirements it’s appropriate with a number of industrial programs and protocols.
