On the Cell World Convention present in Barcelona, Intel showcased its most superior processor but, the Xeon 6+ processor, codenamed “Clearwater Forest.”
Technically, it’s one in all Intel’s most advanced chiplet designs, with a package deal that mixes a complete of 12 compute chiplets manufactured on a mixture of Intel 18A node, Intel 7, and Intel 3 manufacturing processes.

Clearwater Forest helps the prevailing Xeon server platform socket, 12 reminiscence channels, 96 PCIe 5.0 lanes, and 64 CXL 2.0 lanes. It helps reminiscence as much as DDR5-8000.The chip accommodates 288 E-cores, for Effectivity, with a high-bandwidth on-chip material to hyperlink two chips in a two-socket design.
