Iceotope, a precision liquid cooling supplier, launches the second-generation KUL RAN, a 2U chassis with HPE ProLiant DL110 Gen11 servers and 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors.

In line with the corporate, this enterprise-grade answer is right for high-density, low latency RAN and edge computing companies.

Iceotope’s Precision Liquid Cooling, mixed with HPE’s server market experience and Intel’s x86 silicon, offers an answer to chop telecom market emissions. The KUL RAN (2U) answer lowers server energy use by 20%. It decreases part failure charges by as much as 30%, extending IT gear lifespan, the corporate explains.

Telco operators are more and more involved concerning the prices of energy and its carbon impression. Vitality consumption makes up a good portion of their bills. Rising international power costs have additional escalated these prices.

David Craig, CEO at Iceotope, says: “International power prices and web zero commitments are factoring strongly into operators’ strategic planning and monetary backside traces. Our new KUL RAN (2U) answer can have an actual impression as operators discover their excessive edge methods.”

Open RAN or vRAN helps sustainability by lowering the power consumption of the RAN.

The corporate says that KUL RAN brings precision liquid cooling advantages to edge computing websites and will increase the server gear’s stability and safety. It reduces cooling prices with out infrastructure adjustments.

Operators utilizing KUL RAN (2U) can save over $40 million yearly with 20% power consumption financial savings, based on Iceotope.

SKT, Iceotope, and SK Enmove are becoming a member of forces beneath an MOU to implement Precision Liquid Cooling at SKT’s AI Information Middle Testbed.

The purpose is to showcase PLC’s cooling effectivity and energy financial savings advantages. Moreover, SKT plans to create an built-in Coolant Distribution Unit with Iceotope’s technical help.

Search engine marketing Sang-hyuk, the VP and head of the e-Fluids B2B enterprise workplace at SK Enmove, says: “The significance of creating a sustainable surroundings is rising lately. By this cooperation, we goal to contribute to the vitalization of the immersion cooling market and solidify our place as an energy-saving firm.”

Iceotope’s Precision Liquid Cooling (PLC) expertise makes use of dielectric fluid to take away warmth from server elements and scale back power consumption.

SKT goals to create an AI-driven autonomous cooling system for information facilities. This method will optimize temperature and energy load, enhancing operational effectivity, the corporate notes.
