Hitachi Vantara launches unified storage platform

Hitachi Vantara introduced the provision of Hitachi Digital Storage Platform One, a unified platform that spans each on-premises and cloud storage and helps each structured and unstructured information.

Information development has all the time been a problem to handle, and it has solely gotten worse within the period of analytics, generative AI, and information silos that span a number of on-prem and cloud websites. Hitachi cited a current ballot from The Information Warehousing Institute that discovered whereas 71% of IT specialists agreed that their group values information, solely 19% stated they’ve a powerful information administration technique in place.   

“By eliminating information silos, Digital Storage Platform One empowers organizations to take management and unleash the facility of their info. This new highly effective answer breaks down the obstacles between information sources, permitting organizations to handle all the pieces, from primary information to advanced databases inside one platform,” stated Octavian Tanase, chief product officer, Hitachi Vantara in an announcement.
