HeyGen Raises $60M in Series A Funding

HeyGen, a Los Angeles, CA-based AI video technology platform for companies, raised $60M in Collection A funding at a $500M post-money valuation.

The spherical was led by Benchmark with participation from Thrive Capital, BOND, Conviction, Bond Capital, and others. Victor Lazarte from Benchmark has joined the board of administrators.

The corporate, which has raised a complete of $74M, intends to make use of the funds to broaden operations and its enterprise attain.  

Led by Joshua Xu, CEO, HeyGen is an AI video technology platform that permits companies to create, localize, and personalize studio-quality movies with out a digital camera, forged, or crew, by typing their script and generate movies for advertising, communications, gross sales, studying & growth, and extra. HeyGen additionally permits customers to localize current movies into 175 languages and regional dialects with AI voice and lip sync.

The corporate has:

  • Over 40,000 paying prospects;
  • Grown to over $35M in ARR in over a yr 
  • been worthwhile since Q2 2023

Moreover, HeyGen has added three executives together with:

  • Dave King, former CMO of Asana, joined as Chief Enterprise Officer. 
  • Rong Yan, former VP of Engineering at HubSpot, joined as new Chief Know-how Officer.
  • Lavanya Poreddy, previously of Match Group and Meta, joined as Head of Belief and Security.
