Hewlett Packard Enterprise has introduced a collaboration with TELUS to construct Canada’s first 5G open radio entry community (Open RAN). The initiative, in line with the corporate, goals to reinforce connectivity throughout 3,000 websites, providing sooner and extra responsive providers to prospects.

The infrastructure supplied by HPE consists of the deployment of HPE ProLiant DL110 Gen11 servers, designed for high-performance telecommunications duties. These servers supply an open and versatile basis, permitting TELUS to ship mobile connectivity to each city and rural areas.

By leveraging Open RAN infrastructure, TELUS can guarantee interoperability and scalability in constructing its 5G community, in line with the corporate. The servers will function the muse for a Distributed Unit (DU), accountable for knowledge transmission throughout the community.
