Google plans $3 billion data center investment in Indiana, Virginia

(Reuters) – Alphabet unit Google mentioned on Friday it might make investments $3 billion to arrange a knowledge middle campus in Indiana and increase websites in Virginia.

A increase in synthetic intelligence functions has elevated the demand for cloud computing, prompting Massive Tech companies to increase their information middle capability.

On Thursday, Amazon.com’s cloud computing arm dedicated $11 billion towards new information facilities in Indiana and creating 1,000 jobs.

Google will spend $2 billion for the Indiana campus at Fort Wayne, and $1 billion to increase three present information middle campuses in Virginia.

On Friday, the corporate additionally introduced a $75-million Google AI Alternative Fund to coach People on AI abilities.
