ClearBlade, an IoT platform and edge AI company, announced that over 250 Google Cloud customers have migrated to ClearBlade IoT Core. Additionally, specific customers are leveraging use cases in digital twins and edge AI.

In August 2022, ClearBlade launched IoT Core as a replacement for Google Cloud IoT Core, which was discontinued in August 2023. ClearBlade offers an IoT Core service with capabilities like edge AI, digital Twins and generative AI (Gen AI).

Zimi CEO Jordan Tentori says, “Leveraging ClearBlade’s prowess and complementing it with the expansive capabilities of Google Cloud enables us to deliver a transformative experience for our users.”

ClearBlade offers free migration from Google Cloud IoT Core to its IoT Core service. The company says all existing features of Google Cloud IoT Core, including authentication, certificates, device flows, and integrations, are matched one-to-one.

ClearBlade provides a range of IoT offerings. These include IoT Enterprise for expanded functionalities, edge AI for edge computing and predictive models, and Intelligent Assets for creating digital twins of any environment without coding.

The company says it will enhance its product suite by integrating Gen AI, further boosting the efficiency of its no-code IoT and digital twins solutions for operators.

Eric Simone, CEO and founder of ClearBlade, states: “Our number-one goal was to make Google Cloud customers’ use of ClearBlade as easy and painless as possible while allowing them to remain on the Google Cloud, the cloud they trusted for their critical IoT infrastructure.”

Simone adds that many of these customers are now harnessing the power of AI and digital twins for predictive asset maintenance and AI-based video monitoring in the field.
