Gcore integrates StackPath’s API protection offering to improve its security solution

Edge AI, cloud, community, and safety options supplier Gcore has acquired StackPath’s internet utility and API safety (WAAP) answer. The acquisition goals to offer Gcore prospects with a safety answer, incorporating internet utility firewall (WAF), API safety, bot safety, and Layer-7 DDoS mitigation on the edge.

The corporate notes that the WAAP answer will likely be built-in into Gcore’s safety product lineup by the third quarter of 2024.
