In response to rising demand for scalable knowledge centre infrastructure, EXFO, an organization within the communications sector, has launched a testing answer that features 24-fibre testers. The merchandise are designed to help the necessities of hyperscale and AI-driven knowledge centre deployments.

The answer has been developed to help hyperscale operators as knowledge centre capability continues to broaden. In keeping with EXFO, the testers are meant to allow clients to scale operations in step with rising demand related to AI and high-capacity community deployments.

The newest additions to EXFO’s product vary embody:

  • FTB-Lite 975 – A certifier supporting simplex, duplex and multi-fibre bidirectional testing. It contains options similar to end-to-end automation and hands-free testing.
  • PXM/LXM Duplex – An optical loss take a look at set (OLTS) designed for 24-fibre environments and meant to help testing necessities with reliability.

These devices are positioned to help testing workflows with the purpose of enhancing effectivity, accuracy and testing pace in knowledge centre environments.

The answer incorporates further options and applied sciences, together with:

  • SmartRef know-how for fibre validation and error analysis.
  • Touchless testing methods with a deal with optical return loss (ORL) enhancements.
  • The FIP-500 device, which applies AI-assisted evaluation for fibre connector inspection.

The platform covers Tier-1 OLTS certification in addition to OTDR troubleshooting for high-fibre installations.

The answer was demonstrated at trade occasions together with Knowledge Heart World in London (sales space #B202) and OFC 2026 in Los Angeles (sales space #523).

EXFO has launched what it describes as native 24-fibre testers to handle the wants of high-fibre knowledge centre deployments. The product line is positioned to help testing and documentation necessities in hyperscale environments and increasing infrastructure tasks.
