Equinix is contemplating the sale of a minority stake in its Hong Kong amenities.
In line with Reuters, Equinix has valued its Hong Kong knowledge centres at round $2 billion, with sources from the corporate reportedly saying that the corporate might promote 25% on the website.
“Equinix Hong Kong serves as a key interconnection hub for our international buyer base. We are going to proceed to spend money on future progress to make sure our prospects can deploy in Hong Kong with confidence,” a spokesperson from Equinix instructed Reuters.
Equinix has employed Citigroup to handle the sale – though the corporate has declined to remark.
